11:05 pm - Life is crazy...
I have been extremely busy. That is a understatement. If there was a word that emphasized extremely, I would use that. A short update, I felt, was in order.

-ASM for All My Sons, opens next thursday and closes the 19th (I get to shoot a gun in the show!)
-Finally got up to visit Alex earlier this month, it was awesome
-Opened Bedroom Farce yesterday at the AVO in Vista, come see it!
-Knitting a scarf and a blanket!
-Went to Disneyland last weekend, it ruled!
-Made it through my midterms in one piece, though I didn't really sleep for two weeks solid.
-Tuesday marks the one year point since my grandfathers death. :(
-I am addicted to coffee and tea. Sad story.
-I got accepted to SFSU. Here goes nothin'.
-I'm getting a new camera for christmas. So excited.
-I need more sleep.

10:06 pm - Who needs shelter from the storm...
I recently spent a few days in the lovely Shelter Island. It was relaxing, and beautiful. No photos can do this place justice. Anyways, my photos aren't up to par because I hate my camera right now. Enjoy...

10:55 pm - Dia Numero Nueve
On the ninth day in Italy, we visited Vatican City and St. Peter's Square. Saw where the pope gives his talks, and got shut down due to a good friday mass. Woo. It was an experience, and I want to go back!

2:41 pm - Dia Numero Siete...
My seventh day I found myself in the great city of Roma. It was amazing, and it started out great. When we got to our Hostel, the roomes weren't ready so they gave us free drinks at the bar. After that we went to see the Coliseum, and the ruins of the old city. It was absolutely amazing!!! After that we found ourselves traveling to the Hard Rock Cafe, where we found a Navy guy who ended up picking up our dinner, bought us a round of drinks, and gave us another 50 euro... it was crazy. Needless to say, my first day in Rome left a lasting impression. Not to mention, I now know why they say 'Rome wasn't built in a day.' Enjoy!!!

1:22 pm - Dia Numero Seis...
On the sixth day, we had our first and only full day in Florence. We made the most of it, set out on foot to see the great many things Florence has to offer. However, no amount of planning could have avoided the looong line to get into the great museum, which involved a 4 hour wait. But, alas, we saw pretty much everything we wanted to see, and had a great time.

1:15 pm - Dia Numero Cinco...
On day number five, we traveled from Venezia, to Florence (Firenze) for a a little while. Florence is home to the statue of David, the perfect man, and many other masterpieces. It houses the largest gothic cathedral in all of Italy, as well as Italy's greatest museum of art. Florence was an interesting city, but VERY crowded and expensive.

5:07 pm - Dia Numero Cuatro...
On the fourth day of our trip, we spent a little more time in Venice, got to chill out and really catch the vibe of this city. We did some last minute shopping, and Wade hung out with my camera for a little bit of the day. Enjoy!

4:50 pm - Dia Numero Tres...
On my third day of the trip, we were still in Venice, Italy. This was our first full day in the city, and we covered a lot of ground. We walked to Piazza San Marco, from there we took a Gondola ride, and after that we walked over to the Guggenheim. It was a productive day, and I further fell in love with the beauty of Venice.

1:43 pm - Dia Numero Dos...
On our second day, we traveled from Milan to Venice, a city I have been wanting to visit for the longest time. It was nothing short of my expectations. Our first day in Venice, which was only really an afternoon, involved walking around, enjoying gilato and getting to know the city. I can believe how beautiful this place was!!

That in Spain, instead of saying 'cheese' when smiling for a photo, they say 'potatas'

It is pretty entertaining.

3:37 pm - Breaking all the rules...
We have a wonderful square in Salamanca, The Plaza Mayor. It is old as dirt, and you really aren't supposed to eat in it. But we were hungry, and it was a nice day.

3:02 am - Portugal was a trip....
I spent the last 3 days in a country known as Portugal. Now I have been to 4 countries in a matter of months. I didn't really know what to expect from this country, and was surprised by what I found. The city we were mostly in, Lisbon, reminded me a little bit of San Francisco with the big bridge (that is red) and the cable cars and the fact that it is a fairly compact (but large) city. But that was just the beginning, the basis if you will. April, Ashley, Jessica, and I departed on the 4:50AM to Portugal and arrived early enough in the day on Friday so that we could explore what the city was all about. Apart from the rain and stuff, it was pretty cool. Though we did have a run-in with a bus and a puddle that were just calling our names. Needless to say, we got splashed movie style and I couldn't stop laughing about how awesome it was. Saturday was a new day, and we were up for anything. We explored most of the city via bus and met up with the people from our group that were there. We had some experiences there too... I think the one that stands out the most in my mind is that of the random Portugal guys roaming the streets with fake drugs (marijuana y hashish) but pretending to sell sunglasses. It was pretty crazy. We ate dinner at the Hard Rock in celebration of April's birthday, and a few tables over was the president of some small Asian country. That was neat... Then on Sunday we departed the city after getting lost in a Portuguese ghetto. I had a great adventure, now enjoy the photos yo...

So the guys that live across the street from us have a nice balcony, with a great view of the whole city. It is awesome and this is a photo that I took the other night. I promise to post more photos of Salamanca by night sometime soon...

11:30 pm - I did it...
Today me and a few others from my group embarked on a 12 mile hike through the mountains. It was along the Espana/ Portugal border. It was absolutely wonderful! The oranges were fantastic and the pork products were great. Here are the pictures... enjoy!!!
